Each person who calls First Christian Church home has an opportunity to serve both inside and outside the walls of the Church. We invite you to consider your gifts and passions to find where God is inviting you to serve.
Saturday Bread
We partner with First Presbyterian Church to serve meals to people in need throughout the community.
Approximately four times a year we gather together to prepare, serve, and deliver meals.
Sunday's Kitchen
Sitting around a table talking about service & loving people exactly where they are, an idea was born: all people are hungry - for food, companionship, time, money - let’s feed people.
Join us the last Sunday of each month from 5:30-6:30 PM for a home cooked meal and time of intentional fellowship in the Gym. All are welcome.
hands and feet
This is an ever changing service ministry to meet the needs of those that need help. Projects could be as simple as changing a light bulb, or as complicated as rebuilding a deck. We try to meet the needs of our church members as well as those in the community. If a need is presented, we try to help.
Community Events
FCC is passionate about being a light in our local community. One of the ways we do this is by participating and contributing to community events like the annual Lighting of the Derricks downtown or SAFFE Day. Keep an eye on the church calendar for ways you can get involved!
Blessing Box
Located in the church parking lot, our Blessing Box is was the brainchild of one of our youth. It is a "take what you need" model that provides supplemental food for those in our community. This box is always open to donations from both within and outside of the church.
