Who We Are
Our mission is to celebrate the love of Jesus Christ for all people in our community through worship and committed service.
As a community of faith, we will witness by proclaiming the gospel, nurturing people through spiritual development and embracing people through inclusive programming and evangelism.
This congregation is part of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Since its founding in the early 18th century, the Disciples of Christ have endeavored to increase respect, understanding, and unity among believers in Christ. We strive to remain obedient to the teachings of the New Testament while practicing a faith that is socially relevant and intellectually sound. Members are bound together in fellowship and service by confessing that “Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God.” (Matthew 16:16) On other matters, we recognize the freedom of individual believers to have differences of opinion. We believe that there should be “inessentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; and in all things, charity.”
